FAQ

Will the water look like the pictures on the website?

We’re lucky that most days here on the Emerald Coast have stunning, crystal-clear waters that match the beautiful photos you’ve seen online. However, the weather and natural factors like wind, waves, and sea life can sometimes affect the water’s color and clarity.

What should I bring on the boat?

Pack as if you’re heading to the beach or pool for the day! Just make sure your belongings can fit in a carry-on bag that can sit on your lap during the ride. You’re also welcome to bring a small cooler that can fit under your seat. Food, drinks, and alcohol are allowed, but please no glass bottles. You can also purchase drinks at check-in and at Crab Island.

Do you leave us at Crab Island?

For your safety and in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations, our captain and crew will stay with you during your time at Crab Island. If you want to stay longer, we recommend renting from True Blue Pontoons for an all-day excursion.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your reservation for a full refund (minus a $5 service fee) up to 48 hours before your scheduled trip time. If you cancel after that, we can’t provide a refund. If bad weather prevents us from operating, we’ll reschedule your trip. You can make changes to your reservation without any fees as long as you do it at least 48 hours before your scheduled trip. Unfortunately, we can’t offer refunds for unexpected circumstances, but travel insurance can provide extra protection.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, we recommend making an advance reservation through our website to ensure you get a spot on the boat. Please note that we require a minimum number of passengers for each trip. If we don’t meet that minimum, we’ll reschedule the trip.

Is there shade on the boat?

Yes, the boat is fully covered, so you’ll have shade during the ride.

Do babies and infants count as passengers?

Yes, according to U.S. Coast Guard regulations, we have a maximum number of passengers and weight capacity for the boat. Please let us know if your group exceeds a certain weight limit so we can make arrangements for your comfort and safety.

Are Crab Island attractions included in the ticket price?

No, the vendors at Crab Island are separate businesses and not included in the ticket price.

How long is the boat ride to Crab Island?

The ride to Crab Island takes about 20 minutes and is a scenic journey along the Intercoastal Waterway and Choctawhatchee Bay.

Will other people be on the boat with us?

Unless you book a private party, you’ll be sharing the experience with others who also purchased single tickets.

Are pets allowed?

Only trained, official service dogs are allowed on the boat for everyone’s safety. The passenger with the service dog must stay with the animal for the entire trip. We’re not responsible for any issues that may arise with unattended pets.
